Job summary
Lineage in Sunnyvale, TX is seeking an Automation Technician to maintain and upgrade automated equipment that drives our temperature-controlled warehouse operations.
The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on conveyors, robotic systems, automated cranes, and control equipment; you will assist with system installation and modifications, provide technical support, and use computer tools for documentation.
Qualifications
- 2 years in industrial maintenance or automation with troubleshooting electrical controls, PLCs, and mechanicals.
- Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI configuration, and control systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals.
- Willingness to learn E Maintenance or similar programs; good computer skills.
- Able to work in -20F to 100F environments with PPE.
- Able to lift 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Flexible schedule including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair automated machinery and integrated systems.
- Assist with installation and modification of automation systems.
- Provide technical support for operation of automated equipment.
- Utilize computer systems for documentation and technical research.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and fluid power maintenance.
