Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking a Tier 1 Automation Technician in the United States to perform preventative maintenance and repair on automated equipment and robots. You will inspect systems daily, manage pit stops, and ensure safety devices and housekeeping are maintained in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires hands-on experience with automation, robotics, and adherence to food safety standards (ISO/SQF). You will work under the Automation supervisor to support continuous equipment reliability.

Qualifications

Experience performing preventative maintenance on automated equipment.
Familiarity with JDE PM modules and scheduled maintenance.
Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
Robotics and automation knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform a daily walk through with attention to containment, equipment condition, and clean walkways in automation areas.
Check molding grid daily for mold change schedule and ensure readiness.
Check JDE system daily for scheduled PMs.
Pit-stop equipment according to Molding Pit Stop schedule.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and robots.
Repair offline and online automation equipment including robots.
Maintain guards and safety devices on automated equipment.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow food safety policies (ISO/SQF) and plant safety rules.
