Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Tier 1 Automation Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair on automated equipment and robots in our Ohio manufacturing facility. The role includes daily setup containment checks, mold-change preparations, and adherence to safety and ISO/SQF standards.

You will monitor PM schedules in JDE, perform pit-stop procedures, and repair both offline and online automation equipment, including robots.

Qualifications

Experience with preventive maintenance and repair on automated equipment.
Ability to follow safety policies and ISO/SQF guidelines.
Familiarity with manufacturing automation and robotics systems.
Ability to read maintenance manuals and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform daily walk-throughs focusing on setup containment, equipment condition, and clear walkways.
Check email daily to monitor maintenance tasks.
Review molding grid daily for mold-change scheduling.
Check JDE system daily for scheduled PMs.
Pit-stop equipment per Molding Pit Stop schedule.
Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Mold change setup and part containment.
Troubleshoot and repair bale/automation systems.
Size-change equipment operations and adjustments.
Repair offline and online automation equipment including robots.
Maintain guards and safety devices on automated equipment.
Maintain high housekeeping in the work area.
Perform duties safely and professionally as directed by supervision.
Understand and apply Food Safety, ISO/SQF and Plant Safety policies.
