Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician for a fault-finding, repair, and preventive maintenance role in a high-volume, automated facility in Florida.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and familiarity with GMP and cleanroom/stage environments. This is a direct-hire, night-shift position with 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shifts varying by schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade certificates preferred.
• 3+ years hands-on industrial maintenance in automated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical drives, and power transmission.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on high-speed production equipment, conveyors, filling lines, and packaging systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical failures to minimize downtime.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems and PLCs.
• Follow OSHA, LOTO, and GMP standards in all maintenance activities.
