Job summary

BD in USA Utah Sandy is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to keep automated production equipment running safely and reliably. You will fix equipment issues, support preventive maintenance, and partner with operators to reduce downtime and improve OEE.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, continuous improvement, and mentoring technicians. You will participate in maintenance planning, lead line maintenance with the Preventative Maintenance Leader, and ensure accurate maintenance records

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 3 years’ experience with high-speed automated assembly and packaging equipment preferred.
• Associates Degree in Mechatronics/EMT or similar technical field preferred.
• BA/BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Some PLC experience desirable.
• 2 years medical device manufacturing experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Attend line meetings and provide status of line and resource needs.
• Identify root causes to stop recurring losses using systematic problem-solving.
• Assist shift technicians in investigating losses to ensure countermeasures work.
• Support CI projects/validations to improve equipment reliability.
• Engage with operators to improve OEE and safety performance.
• Record maintenance activities and spares in SAP and maintenance forms.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Associates Degree: Mechatronics/EMT or other technical

BA/BS Degree: Industrial or Mechanical Engineering

Some PLC experience

2 years medical device manufacturing experience
