Job summary
SBA Home North Carolina is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer for our Davie County facility. You will oversee a team of electricians and mechanics, drive preventive and corrective maintenance on highly automated furniture manufacturing equipment, and monitor OEE and KPIs to maximize uptime.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field preferred).
- 3+ years of maintenance engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (woodworking industry experience preferred).
- Experience maintaining automated production equipment (HOMAG/BüRKLE or similar) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical power transmission, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and vacuum systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Maintenance operations, ensuring reliable and safe functioning of equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on highly automated furniture manufacturing equipment (conveyors, drives, edge banders, gearboxes, robotic cells).
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures to minimize production downtime.
- Monitor machine reliability, equipment condition, and maintenance KPIs.
- Support optimization of machine availability, reliability, and OEE.
- Develop and lead a team of electricians and mechanics.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS/SAP.
