Job summary

SBA Home North Carolina, the first U.S. production facility for SBA Group, seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and automated equipment across the plant. The role supports safe, efficient production and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification, associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, automated environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, automated equipment, machinery, and facility electrical components.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, control, and automation issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Install, test, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, control panels, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and manuals to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
