Job summary

MacLean Power Systems is seeking an Engineering Tech II to assist in the design, development, production, testing, operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment, tools and machinery. The role supports production through setup, adjustments and problem-solving.

You will read blueprints and specifications, participate in improvement projects, and ensure documentation and 5S practices are followed. This position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program; 2–4 years of related experience.
• Ability to interpret work instructions and follow directions.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in automation improvements and plant layouts.
• Set up, adjust and operate production machines.
• Test and inspect machines; perform routine maintenance and fix standard malfunctions.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine setup and methods.
• Devise, fabricate and assemble mechanical components for products.
• Document all work fully and maintain 5S standards.
• Follow safety, environmental and quality policies.
