Job summary

MacLean Power Systems is seeking an Engineering Tech II to support design, development, production, testing, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment. You will work under engineering direction to help improve automation and manufacturing layouts.

The role requires technical school accreditation and 2–4 years of related experience, with strong blueprint interpretation and problem-solving abilities. Candidates must thrive in a team environment and follow safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program is required.
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• 2–4 years of related experience expected; work under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform automation improvements and assist in plant layout planning.
• Set up, adjust and operate production machines as needed.
• Test and inspect machines for safe, efficient operation and perform routine maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop orders to determine setup and method.
• Devise, fabricate and assemble mechanical components or measuring instruments.
• Complete all documents accurately and on time.
• Maintain 5S standards and follow safety, environmental and quality policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
