Job summary

Presrite Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Cleveland, OH to develop, implement, and optimize forging processes and automated systems. The role requires 60% floor time on manufacturing operations to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and drive cost efficiency.

Core responsibilities include leading process improvements, troubleshooting die issues, and collaborating with maintenance and production teams to implement automation and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with industrial automation systems (robotics, PLCs, or similar).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on forging/machining operations to increase uptime, efficiency, and throughput.
• Trouble shoot existing die issues/runs and provide solutions through die modifications or redesigns and production parameter adjustments.
• Identify and eliminate process waste using Lean principles.
• Drive RCCM efforts to resolve recurring issues and improve equipment reliability.
• Lead Kaizen events and 5S activities to improve workplace organization and process flow.
• Program, implement, and support automation systems for new and existing forging jobs.
