FabLogix in Duncan, SC, is seeking a hands-on Automation Lead for robotic and automated fabrication cells. You will own uptime, train operators, and coordinate maintenance and software interfaces to ensure consistent throughput and quality.

You will collaborate with engineering and OEMs, translate drawings and data for the cells, and drive improvements across shifts. A technical background in automation and robotics is essential for this role.

Competenze

Associate’s degree or technical certificate in automation, robotics, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or welding technology, or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience operating, programming, or maintaining industrial robots or automated fabrication equipment.

Mansioni

Own cell uptime by tracking downtime, root causes, and utilization metrics and report results.
Develop, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance plans based on OEM recommendations.
Understand and manage the cell software interface, including offline programming, libraries, and process parameter sets.
Train and qualify new operators on safe operation, setup, programming basics, and troubleshooting.
Serve as the primary technical contact with OEMs and integrators for troubleshooting and upgrades.
Enforce robotic cell safety and ensure output meets welding procedures and code requirements.
