Job summary

Boccard Life Sciences, an industrial integrator, designs and installs process solutions for the Food & Ingredients, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, and Brewing industries. The Automation Lead is responsible for manufacturing automation and controls design, programming, simulation, testing, and start-up assistance, acting as the project go-to person for automation needs on site.

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years in Controls/Automation, PLC/HMI programming, and field commissioning is required,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 5 years in Controls/Automation
• Experience in PLC and HMI programming
• Experience with field commissioning and start-up
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to automation engineers for project execution
• Provide guidance to customers during project meetings
• Lead commissioning on-site and support FAT/SAT
• Develop PLC and HMI programs from Functional Analysis and Description
• Prepare operator manuals and technical documentation
• Collaborate within multi-discipline project teams
