Job summary

Boccard Life Sciences is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, implement, test, and commission automation and control systems across projects in the life sciences sector. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable automation that complies with GMP, GAMP, and ISA standards.

You will interpret URS, develop architecture, validate I/O lists, and lead FAT/SAT activities while mentoring junior engineers and interfacing with clients and vendors as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation in life sciences, food & beverage, or process industries.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
• Define automation architecture and control system strategies.
• Design, program, and validate PLC and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
• Review and approve technical documentation and manuals.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
