Job summary

Werner Electric Supply in Appleton, WI is seeking an Automation Specialist Intern for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience supporting product and technical services, under executive mentorship, with Lean Six Sigma training and company-sponsored projects.

The program offers up to $19 per hour, networking with internal and external teams, and potential for year-long internships and full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Previous technical support or customer service experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of industrial controls, sensors, safety products, and automation products is desired.

Responsibilities

• Attend and assist with training classes.
• Assist Technical Support Specialist with projects, lab setup and cleanup.
• Attend customer events such as Counter Days and technical presentations.
• Other related duties as assigned.
