Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. is seeking an automation intern to work onsite in Farmington, CT from January 2027 to August 2027, minimum 24 hours per week. You will design and deploy automation workflows using Power Automate, collaborate with the team, and help map SAP Build Apps processes.

The role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge automation technologies, mentorship from professionals, and opportunities to impact ongoing business operations within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent IT/CS/Engineering degree.
• Familiar with Power Automate or SAP Build Apps (training provided).
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automation workflows using Power Automate.
• Translate business needs into automated processes with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain automation solutions.
• Assist in SAP Build Apps automations and process mapping.
• Develop SOPs for business processes in collaboration with owners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to drive automation innovation.
• Stay updated on trends in automation, Power Automate, and SAP Build Apps.
• Apply new knowledge to real-world challenges.
