Job summary

The ideal candidate has a strong operations or experimental background in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, familiarity with SAP, and experience with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Visio, SolidWorks, or SAP.

Qualifications

• Strong operations or experimental background in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Access, PowerPoint) and Visio, SolidWorks.
• Six Sigma knowledge is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform process analysis and derive improvements.
• Support description of standards in machine assembly (write work instructions, conduct time studies).
• Uptake and improve 5S in the department.
• Review and implement new layout plans to streamline processes and supply chains.
• Work within SAP to link work instructions to production steps.
• Support supervisory team to meet productivity and quality goals.
