Job summary

BMW Manufacturing Company in Greer, SC, is offering a Customs and Export Control Automation Intern position for Spring 2027. The role focuses on data gathering, dashboard enhancement, and KPI reporting to support the department's regulatory compliance and analytics initiatives.

Successful candidates will refine data sources, improve dashboards, and update work instructions while demonstrating Excel mastery and familiarity with PowerBI/Tableau in a US college setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities.
• Experience with high level reporting/database software – PowerBI, Tableau.
• Detail oriented.
• Organized.
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
• Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
• The work term dates are January 11th – May 14th, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze different sources of data received by the department.
• Review and analyze format used to consolidate different sources into one dashboard for easier viewing and analyzing of data.
• Enhance and/or improve dashboard or dashboards for department to view data.
• Update work instruction describing how to use dashboard as needed.
• Present process to department.
• Enhance process for more digitalized reporting within the department.
• Update relevant KPI work instructions to incorporate new process.
