Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics seeks an Integration Engineering Specialist to support automation projects with integration of material handling systems. You will select components, perform mechanical commissioning and troubleshooting, develop HMI/PLC software, onsite checkout, and validate throughput against project goals.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant engineering degree, 3+ years in automation, experience with conveyors, and proficiency in Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs/HMIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Industrial, Computer, ElectroMechanical or Mechanical).
• 3+ years of experience in automation within material handling.
• Experience with conveyor-based systems and automation controls.
• Experience with PLCs & HMIs (Allen Bradley or Siemens) or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and manage project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in commissioning and testing projects under direction.
• Lead commissioning and testing efforts with oversight from experienced engineers/leads.
• Develop and execute commissioning checklists and test plans for each project.
• Debug PLCs and HMIs; optimize throughput per customer specifications.
• Coordinate with project manager and cross-functional teams.
