Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics seeks a Project Leader Engineer II (PLC/Controls) to drive cross-functional teams from concept to handover. You will manage system design, software (PLC/PC), electrical installation, and FAT/SAT/CAT testing to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with large-scale material handling systems.
• Strong planning, coordination and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and lead cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of controls engineering, electrical installation and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through customer handover with strong technical execution.
• Oversee system design: hardware, software (PLC/PC), electrical installation and testing.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Manager and subcontractors for seamless execution.
• Develop engineering plans, risk registers, test plans and progress reports.
• Monitor budgets and ensure safety analyses during engineering phase.
