Job summary
Lehigh Hanson Inc. is looking for a Process Control Technician (PCT) in South Carolina. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting process control systems to ensure plant productivity and safety standards are met. Candidates should possess a technical background in Instrumentation & Controls or Electrical Engineering with 2–5+ years of relevant experience.
Hourly pay is $34.12 with union benefits including medical and vacation. Candidates must be prepared for potential overtime and on-call rotations.
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in process control, instrumentation, or industrial maintenance.
- Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments preferred.
- Score of 75 or better on the NCCER Industrial Electrician test.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot distributed control systems (DCS), PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Monitor process control loops and tune controllers for performance.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain field instruments such as flow and pressure transmitters.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and policies.
