Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Automation is inviting rising and recent graduates to join the Automation Genesis program – Discrete Engineering Track. The first six months are in Mason, OH, with subsequent placements at various DI Automation hubs or customer regions including Alpharetta, GA; Elk Grove Village, IL; Chicago, IL; Harleysville, PA; or Detroit, MI based on business needs.

The two-phase program builds your expertise and leads to a full-time role as an Application or Controls Engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE, ME, CE, Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or CS.
• Strong programming proficiency in IEC 61131-3, C#, Python, C/C++, Java.
• Willing to relocate to Mason, OH for 6 months with future placement across DI Automation hubs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in instructor-led training and engineering projects to learn Siemens DI Automation portfolio.
• Design, develop, test, and commission automation applications using factory automation technologies.
• Provide technical consultation for pre-sales activities and proofs-of-concept.
• Engage with customers to drive digital transformation using IIoT and robotics.
