Job summary

Siemens is seeking an early-career engineer for the Automation Genesis program – Process Automation Engineering Track in Mason, OH. The role starts with a 6-month onboarding, followed by a 12-month immersion in process automation, where you’ll gain hands-on experience with DCS, MES, and large-scale systems, before transitioning to a full-time Application Engineer role.

Qualifications

• Program designed for early career candidates starting full-time after graduation.
• Must have completed or will complete required credentials before start date.
• Relocation to Mason, OH for 6 months is required with subsequent hub placement.

Responsibilities

• Engage in training, workshops, and projects to learn Siemens DI Automation portfolio.
• Develop, test, and commission DCS/MES applications for industrial facilities.
• Document system requirements using PFDs, P&IDs, and design specs.
• Create test specs, run simulations, and support on-site commissioning.
• Collaborate with project teams and customers to ensure quality and schedule.
