Job summary

Hamilton Company is seeking a software test engineer to join the R&D team, focusing on quality across robotic platforms and software, including tools, drivers, REST APIs, UIs, and IDEs.

You will design test plans, implement tests, and advocate for quality improvements while collaborating with software, firmware, hardware, and customer teams. A hands-on automation-first approach will be essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree from regionally accredited university in computer science, software engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience as a software tester and/or programmer.
• Experience testing robotic platforms is a plus.
• Laboratory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for software quality and push for high-quality solutions.
• Develop test plans, implement tests, and document testing results.
• Embrace automation-first mindset to build sustainable testing solutions.
• Collaborate with SW, FW, HW, and external customers.
