Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the accounting function end-to-end in a hands-on role. You will run the monthly close, own revenue recognition, and manage billing and collections while driving automation and AI-assisted processes.

You will build and maintain ASC 606 schedules for SaaS revenue and partner with external accountants on audits and tax matters, shaping a modern, efficient finance operation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years progressive accounting experience, including SaaS exposure.
• Ability to own the full monthly close process end-to-end.
• Track record of automating manual accounting tasks.
• Interest and experience with AI tools in accounting workflows.
• Experience with SaaS finance tools such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Ramp, Stripe.

Responsibilities

• Run the full monthly close calendar including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations.
• Own deferred revenue schedules and ASC 606 compliance for subscription revenue.
• Manage invoicing, AR aging, and collections; build automated processes.
• Oversee accounts payable, expense management, and vendor payments.
• Serve as primary contact for external accountants, audits, and tax prep.
• Evaluate and implement finance tech stack including AI integrations.
