Job summary

Hy-Tek Intralogistics seeks an Automation Support Engineer to maximize customer satisfaction through field service and responsive troubleshooting. The role covers remote assistance, on-site support for mechanical/electrical issues, and contributing to the innovation lab when not onsite.

The candidate should have 3+ years in automation with strong communication skills, the ability to interpret service manuals, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Some travel and shift flexibility required.

Qualifications

3+ years of mechanical, electrical and/or programming experience in automation environments.
Robotics experience is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills for problem solving.

Responsibilities

Present a professional image to customers and vendors.
Perform system troubleshooting and resolution for innovative systems (AMR, G2P, P2G, etc).
Provide mechanical, electrical and/or programming troubleshooting.
Perform planned maintenance procedures as scheduled.
Assist in small scope mechanical installations as required by the application.
Participate in installation supervision, system controls, and programming procedures.
Follow safety rules and PPE requirements at all times.
Contribute to R&D and testing for innovative solutions.
