Job summary

Hy-Tek Intralogistics in Philadelphia leads in innovative automation solutions and rapid service support. The Automation Support Engineer ensures high customer satisfaction by performing field service, remote troubleshooting, and on-site resolution of mechanical and electrical issues.

When not onsite, the ASE contributes to R&D in the innovation lab, develops new service procedures, and maintains a professional image while meeting customer deadlines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical, electrical and/or programming experience in automation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to solve problems.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and electronics.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Present a professional image to customers and vendors.
• Perform system troubleshooting and resolution for innovative systems (AMR, G2P, P2G).
• Provide mechanical, electrical and programming troubleshooting as needed.
• Perform planned maintenance procedures on systems as scheduled.
• Assist with mechanical installation as required by the application.
• Participate in installation supervision and system controls programming.
• Follow safety rules and contribute to safe work practices.
• Assist in R&D for innovative solutions.
