Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operation of our Wisconsin facility's conveyance and automation systems. You will perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance, coordinating with the team to minimize downtime and respond quickly to breakdowns.

The role follows a Monday–Friday shift from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with opportunities to improve processes, mentor junior staff, and contribute to a high-performing logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computers to diagnose material handling and building automation systems.
• Must be team-oriented and able to work cross-functionally.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self-directed and goal-oriented with initiative.
• Knowledge of commercial power distribution is required.
• Ability to train junior personnel and lead/direct repairs/projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous operation of hardware fixtures, equipment and tools.
• Identify causes of malfunctions and implement preventive measures.
• Prepare checklists and instructions for technical documentation.
• Maintain and service hardware fixtures, equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with external service providers and troubleshoot as needed.
• Implement optimizations across the facility.
