Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Medical Devices Operations to execute detailed process analyses and improve performance of production lines. You will support equipment, processes and tooling, working across Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance and Safety to implement data-driven improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant experience and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree as specified.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering for medical devices is implied.
• Proficiency with Creo, Solidworks, and/or AutoCad is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance and quality personnel to review defects and propose corrective actions.
• Provide daily production support for metal forming, grinding and electropolishing processes and equipment.
• Review equipment and processes using OEE and data analysis to identify improvements and lead change projects.
• Lead engineering studies and DOE to optimize existing manufacturing processes.
• Design tooling improvements using Creo, Solidworks, or AutoCad; collaborate with toolmakers.
• Develop and update product specifications, BOMs and ERP documentation.

Education

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Master's degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience
