Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking an experienced technician to service and install automatic and commercial doors. The role involves installing automatic sliding doors and swing operators, troubleshooting door systems, and maintaining access control hardware.

The ideal candidate has glazing, mechanical, or construction experience, can complete work orders promptly, and will be able to pass a drug screen and hold a CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience with glazing, mechanical or construction work is required.
• Ability to diagnose and repair automatic doors and operators.
• Comfort working with storefront, hollow metal, and commercial wood doors and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Service and install automatic sliding doors and swing operators.
• Troubleshoot and repair automatic doors and operators.
• Service and repair storefront, hollow metal, and commercial wood doors and hardware.
• Troubleshoot and repair access control systems and hardware.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
• Complete and submit timely work orders.
• Keep work order statuses up to date.
• Maintain and track truck/van inventory.
