Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Indiana seeks an Industrial Engineer Manager to lead the automation of material handling equipment across distribution centers. You will design layouts, compute equipment rates, and support software and systems testing in complex supply chain environments.

Requires a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience, 3+ years in engineering and 1+ years in distribution/logistics, plus proficiency in AutoCAD, JDA, and data analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience.
• Experience in engineering, distribution, logistics, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing automated material handling equipment.
• Provide layout and equipment rates analysis.
• Support system design and testing for WCS/WMS.
• Educate operations on new equipment usage.
• Analyze equipment performance and productivity.
• Develop productivity estimates for interfaces with equipment.
• Support start-up and maintenance agreements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
