Job summary

Global Connect Technologies in Kentucky is seeking a skilled robotics engineer/technician to join our automation team. You will work hands-on with FANUC industrial robots, program robots using Teach Pendant, and tune FANUC R-30iA/B controllers to optimize cell performance.

The role requires TP programming, robot troubleshooting, and integration of PLCs (Allen-Bradley Rockwell) with robot I/O. You will participate in cell commissioning, startup, and ensure safety systems and electrical schematics

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with FANUC industrial robots.
• FANUC robot programming using Teach Pendant.
• Experience with FANUC R-30iA / R-30iB / R-30iB Plus controllers.
• Experience with TP programming and robot troubleshooting.
• FANUC mastering, calibration, frames, tools, payloads, and I/O configuration.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLCs.
• Knowledge of PLC-to-robot communication and I/O integration.
• Experience with robotic cell commissioning and startup.
• Ability to troubleshoot robotic and automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of machine safety circuits, interlocks, and robot safety systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and controls documentation.
