Job summary

Global Connect Technologies in Buffalo, NY is seeking a skilled FANUC robot programmer to develop and optimize automated manufacturing systems. The role focuses on programming with the FANUC Teach Pendant, configuring motion and I/O, and commissioning robotics setups.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot robot faults, integrate with PLCs/HMIs, and support startup activities in a fast-paced production environment. On-site work in Buffalo is required.

Qualifications

• Experience programming FANUC robots for automated manufacturing systems.
• Ability to program with FANUC Teach Pendant and troubleshoot robot operations.
• Familiarity with configuring robot motion, frames, tools, and program logic.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot FANUC robot programs for automated manufacturing systems.
• Perform robot programming using the FANUC Teach Pendant.
• Configure robot motion, positions, frames, tools, I/O, and program logic.
• Perform robot setup, calibration, mastering, and commissioning.
• Conduct online robot programming, debugging, and cycle-time optimization.
• Integrate FANUC robots with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, safety systems, conveyors, and other automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot robot faults, communication issues, I/O problems, and production-line failures.
• Support FAT, SAT, runoffs, startup, and production launch activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve robotic equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
