Job summary

Concentric Integration provides full-service automation for water and wastewater systems. We are seeking an Automation Engineer to design, program, install, test, and support PLC/SCADA systems for municipal clients across Bannockburn, Crystal Lake, Chicago, Naperville, and Mokena.

You will lead on-site deployments and develop robust control solutions. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical/controls engineering, strong PLC/SCADA experience, and proven fieldwork ability.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering or technology degree.
• 5+ years in electrical/controls engineering for design, programming, installation and startup.
• 5+ years programming Allen-Bradley Logix PLCs.
• 5+ years fieldwork including panel wiring, startup and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years programming Allen-Bradley PanelView or similar HMI.

Responsibilities

• Provide conceptual design, solutions, and product specifications per end-user requirements.
• Provide in-house PLC/OIT/HMI programming and testing.
• Perform onsite municipal work including instrumentation configuration, installation assistance, and control system start-up/testing.
• On-call 24/7 to troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues, rotating weekly with a quick response time.
• Occasionally lift items up to 50 pounds.
