Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking an engineer to develop and deploy automation and vision inspection technology in its O‑Rings and Engineered Seals division. You will design automation systems for target operations, manage fabrication and installation, and test run-offs across manufacturing plants.

The role requires 5 years in automation design, experience with mechatronics, and CAD proficiency. Occasional travel to U.S. and Mexican sites will be needed in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (ME or EE)
• 5 years of experience in designing and implementing automation systems in manufacturing
• Experience with rubber molding and extrusion is a plus; vision inspection systems a plus
• Strong understanding of programming related to automation and CAD proficiency
• Creative thinking, detail oriented, hands-on, and good time management

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation and vision inspection technology in manufacturing
• Assess opportunities with Business Units to improve safety, ergonomics and productivity
• Design automation systems for target operations and manage fabrication
• Program, test, install and run-off systems in plants
• Troubleshoot issues and develop work instructions and maintenance procedures
• Travel to US and Mexico plants and vendor sites as required
