Job summary

Litera in Denver is seeking a QA/Automation Engineer to empower teams to ship faster by building scalable automation, Azure DevOps workflows, and quality infrastructure that make quality measurable and embedded in the SDLC.

You will own test frameworks, drive shift-left testing, and collaborate across engineering to improve developer productivity and release confidence. The role offers a base salary and a comprehensive benefits package, with a bonus plan.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with modern test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Design and build scalable test frameworks, internal tooling, or shared quality platforms.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Proven impact on developer productivity, release confidence, and cycle time reduction.
• Strong quality engineering mindset with shift-left testing and testability-first design.
• Ability to simplify complex systems and collaborate across engineering teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Enable higher engineering velocity by reducing test overhead, failures, and manual troubleshooting.
• Increase release confidence by reducing defects and shortening delivery cycles.
• Own test stability and drive root-cause fixes for reliable outcomes.
• Build scalable automation solutions using modern frameworks to support long-term efficiency.
• Design self-service testing systems for independent quality workflow management.
• Embed testing into CI/CD pipelines to accelerate time to market and feedback.
• Develop internal platforms and tooling to improve developer productivity and standardize practices.
• Champion shift-left testing to embed quality early across the development lifecycle.
