Job summary
CANPACK Group seeks a Subject Matter Expert for high-volume, high-speed manufacturing automation across line control, robotics, and HMI systems. You will deploy, monitor and maintain automation hardware and software to support plant KPIs, troubleshoot complex processes, and procure parts and maintenance services.
Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of PLC/HMI/robotics experience in fast-paced production, strong communication skills, and experience with Allen-Bradley systems.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
- Minimum 5–8 years programming and troubleshooting experience with PLC automation and controls.
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, monitor and maintain automation hardware, OS and software to drive KPIs.
- Troubleshoot automated processes including line control and robotics.
- Specify and procure replacement parts and maintenance contracts.
- Evaluate options for technology across manufacturing operations.
- Develop and modify programs for process control, robotics and HMIs; maintain backups.
