rms, a Cretex Medical company, seeks an Automation Engineer to develop and execute operational processes in a precision manufacturing environment serving medical device and aerospace sectors.

You will establish process parameters, support validation activities, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Sales to meet CPQ goals while upholding safety and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues using root cause analysis tools.
• Experience with plastic injection molding machines and secondary operations equipment.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish capable processes for new and existing tooling using modeling tools.
• Standardize set-up procedures to reduce cycle times.
• Develop and document processes meeting quality and financial goals.
• Support validation protocols with Quality, Sales, and Operations.
• Execute OQ/PQ protocols to meet customer and Cretex capabilities.
• Provide technical coaching to production employees and the support team.
• Communicate with customers on molding/validation technical details.
• Maintain safety and OE program utilization.
• Partner with sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
• Understand customer needs and core business markets.
