Job summary

Cognify Global is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team and tackle challenging projects across multiple industries. You will develop software to interface with and control hardware, collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver robust solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years of relevant experience, strong programming skills, and the ability to travel to client sites. A U.S. work authorization is required for the role.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsor
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proficient in programming and OO concepts
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Program applications per standards to meet requirements
• Commission solutions at customer sites and troubleshoot systems; travel as needed
• Work with PLC/HMI/SCADA platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Ignition)
• Learn technologies with guidance and gain exposure to sales, proposals, and project processes
• Support system architecture design and perform engineering tasks at all stages
• Mentor and advise junior team members
• Communicate deliverables and maintain customer relationships
