Job summary

Goshen Engineering seeks Automation Engineers to design, develop, build, integrate, test, commission, and support automation and control solutions across electrical and mechanical controls. The role spans PLC/HMI/SCADA/servo/VFD/robot programming, safety systems, documentation, and customer support.

The position may be filled at Level I–III with increasing responsibility from technical work to independent project leadership and mentorship of junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; experience may substitute for education.
• Experience with automation, controls, electrical, or related engineering as appropriate to level.
• Ability to create electrical schematics and work with PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and robot control systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, controls, and electromechanical problems and determine action.

Responsibilities

• Develop control-system designs based on engineering principles, codes, and customer requirements.
• Design, build, test, document, and implement automation solutions from concept to customer-site.
