Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with design, installation, and troubleshooting of PLCs and HMI/SCADA (Ignition) and PC hardware/software in industrial environments
• High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years hands-on controls/automation experience
• Bachelor's or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support process control projects focusing on Ignition SCADA, PLCs, and HMI integration
• Design and implement capital and continuous improvement projects including electrical power and mechanical systems
• Bridge between manufacturing operations and process control technologies using data to identify improvements
• Own and maintain documentation: drawings, source code, procedures, spare parts, and lifecycle management of control systems
• Partner with Shaw Automation Engineers and CIM teams to expand local capability and ensure standards compliance
• Mentor plant personnel and provide engineering support to maintenance and operations teams
• Contribute to energy-saving initiatives and plant utility improvements
• Serve as a resource to plant safety, reliability, and maintenance leaders
