Job summary

Agropur Cooperative seeks an Automation Engineer for Luxemburg, WI. You will lead plant-wide automation programming, troubleshoot controls, train technicians, and implement new policies. Strong PLC/HMI and drive programming skills, CAD experience, and a background in manufacturing are required.

The role emphasizes project management, equipment modification, and collaboration with management to drive efficiencies and safety improvements. A Monday–Friday schedule is typical.

Qualifications

• Associate/technical degree in Electrical/Automation is preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC/HMI and Drive programming required.
• Experience using CAD software required.

Responsibilities

• Plant-wide programming of automation and controls systems.
• Facilitate projects and troubleshoot issues.
• Train technicians and implement new policies and procedures.
• Modify graphics, alarms, and trends for HMIs.
• Configure field instruments and interface with Ethernet/IP and IO networks.
• Troubleshoot PLC/HMI programs and modify/add new ones.
