Job summary

Lilly seeks an Engineer - Plant Engineering Automation to support automation for HVAC, utilities, and facilities at Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing. You will develop, implement, and continuously improve process automation solutions to help achieve business goals.

Design system architectures, code, and participate in validation activities; work with internal customers, maintain safety, and ensure compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and communications skills to work in a team-based environment.
• An understanding of automation requirements to meet compliance and business needs.
• Previous experience as a process automation engineer or process engineer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and support safety goals.
• Ensure automation systems are in-control, capable, and compliant.
• Define user requirements and design system architectures.
• Develop and implement code for automation solutions.
• Perform testing and support validation activities (IV/OV/PQ).
• Manage contract resources and drive process improvements.
