Job summary
Elanco in Elwood, Kansas, is hiring an Automation Engineer to support manufacturing process controls, SCADA/OT networking, and data retrieval. You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering to maintain and improve equipment, ensuring compliance in a GMP/GxP setting.
The role requires a BS in Engineering or an equivalent AS with Industrial Controls, with several years of automation experience.
Qualifications
- BS Engineering or equivalent with minimum 3 years in automation.
- AS with Technical School Certificate in Industrial Controls with minimum 5 years in automation.
Responsibilities
- Support Operations and Maintenance by implementing improvements and troubleshooting electronics and process automation failures.
- Collaborate with Engineering and IT to improve the Automation SCADA/OT network, equipment, and facilities.
- Lead or participate with cross-functional teams to investigate process failures.
- Work in a GxP environment using PLC/HMI programming for equipment under Change Control and Computer System Validation requirements.
