Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Life Science, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing or laboratory automation.
• 3+ years of hands-on Hamilton liquid handler method development and troubleshooting in VENUS.
• Demonstrated ability to write scalable, maintainable liquid handling code.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, troubleshoot, and optimize automated liquid handling methods on Hamilton liquid handlers (STAR, STARlet, Vantage).
• Write scalable, modular liquid handling code with version control.
• Develop, optimize, and validate liquid classes and integrate Hamilton peripherals.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions on liquid handling issues.
• Develop QC methods and use statistics to qualify equipment and process performance.
• Configure, onboard, and support analytical instrumentation and data integrations.
• Scope, design, and deliver small automation projects and perform hands-on troubleshooting.
• Support transfers, installations, and IQ/OQ/PQ qualification and validation.
• Create work instructions and qualification documentation; maintain and update as needed.
• Establish maintenance plans and analyze performance data to improve reliability and yield.
• Create ISO 9001 compliant procedures and FMEAs; use AI tools to accelerate development.
