Job summary

Flexport in the United States (Georgia) is seeking an Automation Engineer to build integrations and automations for customs onboarding. You’ll collaborate with Customs BD, operations, and client teams to turn business requirements into technical solutions—ranging from API/data flows to bespoke automations—on a small, fast-moving team with high ROI visibility.

You’ll deploy production-grade solutions using Retool, n8n, Python/Streamlit, Apps Script, and SQL, owning rollout, monitoring, and

Qualifications

1-3 years of automations, integrations, or software in a data-rich environment.
Proficiency in JavaScript or Python for data transformation and logic.
Strong SQL and API consumption (REST; GraphQL a plus).
Experience with Git-based version control and branching.
Exposure to low-code platforms like Retool / n8n is a plus; EDI exposure helpful.

Responsibilities

Build, deploy, and maintain production-grade integrations and automations using Retool, n8n, Python/Streamlit, Apps Script, and SQL.
Partner with Customs BD, operations, and business units to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Own rollout, monitoring, and iteration of the tools with a focus on reliability and client impact.
Document solutions to aid adoption, usage, and maintenance.
