Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline; 1+ years’ experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Willingness to work hands on with manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation, validation, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Define automation, controls, and equipment requirements for new/upgraded manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with automation projects including controls, robotics, sensors, machine vision, data collection, and manufacturing systems.
• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and validate equipment with experienced engineers and operations teams.
• Capture and share lessons learned; develop engineering documentation and validation records.
