Job summary
Molex in Hudson, WI is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead the installation, startup, and qualification of EBO and FLM manufacturing equipment. You will work with the Zhuhai automation team on site or remotely, helping deploy new automation technologies and drive process improvements.
The role requires hands-on experience with automation systems, reading drawings and schematics, and a strong focus on quality and throughput.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Automation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Automation environment.
- Experience reading mechanical drawings (SolidWorks/UG) and electrical/pneumatic diagrams.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation, startup, calibration, and commissioning of EBO and FLM machines.
- Collaborate with Zhuhai automation team on site or remotely.
- Develop and execute equipment qualification protocols (Installation, Operational and Performance Qualification).
- Support production readiness activities and process validation.
- Improve cycle time, OEE, machine uptime, and labor efficiency.
- Create and maintain: Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, PFMEA and Control Plans.
