Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or an advanced degree with 5 years.
• Proficiency in scripting or software development languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs, including JSON and OAuth.
• Familiarity with ETL development and data integration processes.
• Knowledge of SQL and cloud or data platform technologies.
• Experience with data profiling, validation, and automation of data quality.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Automation Engineer - Data Governance to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will focus on building automation capabilities that strengthen data governance across an enterprise technology environment. You will partner with cross-functional teams to streamline metadata ingestion, workflow automation, data profiling, and validation processes. The position also supports API and ETL development, helping improve data reliability, monitoring, and process efficiency across the organization.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $107,500 – $204,500 annually
