EVONA is seeking an Automation & Mechatronics Engineer to join its robotics, controls & testing team in Texas. The role blends mechanical, electrical, and software aspects to design automated testing systems, control panels, and electromechanical fixtures.

You will develop Python-based test software, integrate embedded controllers, sensors, and actuators, and work with CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C communications to improve reliability and efficiency.

Formación

• Experience in automation engineering, mechatronics, robotics, or automated testing.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating automated hardware systems.
• Working knowledge of Python or another relevant programming language.
• Understanding of embedded electronics, instrumentation, and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with actuators, motors, sensors, or motion-control systems.
• Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.

Responsabilidades

This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys combining mechanical systems, electronics, programming, and automation to create practical, reliable test solutions.

You'll have the opportunity to apply your automation expertise to sophisticated satellite hardware, even if your previous experience comes from outside the aerospace industry.
