Base pay range

$45.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain automation solutions in compliance with GMP, GAMP, and Safety & Environmental (S&E) standards.
• Support the DeltaV Distributed Control System (DCS) and other automation technologies, such as Allen-Bradley PLCs, SCADA/HMI systems, and data historians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support facility operations, process development, and technology transfer.
• Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.
• Support automation change controls, compliance investigations, and engineering documentation.
• Contribute to system startup, testing, and qualification processes.
• Work with IT to ensure secure and efficient integration of automation systems with business applications.
• Help manage batch process control, including CIP/SIP systems and recipe management in DeltaV.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial automation, including hands-on work with:
• HMI/SCADA/DCS systems
• PLC, I&C (Instrumentation & Controls)
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (preferably GMP).
• Familiarity with automation architecture, control system design, and commissioning/start-up processes.
• Experience working under GAMP 5 guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Prior experience in biopharma GMP manufacturing.
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server, Oracle, and data interfaces.
• Experience with batch processing, CIP/SIP, and automation for manual batch environments.
• DeltaV training or certification from Emerson.
• Experience in control system validation and documentation.
• Project engineering or maintenance support experience in a manufacturing environment.
